FREQUENTLY ASKED.
- Are there long-term contracts?
- No. Managed-services tiers (Starter and Growth) bill month-to-month with no minimum term. Custom Project engagements have a fixed scope of work and a fixed price; once the work and the 30-day post-launch stabilization window are complete, the engagement ends — no recurring obligation.
- How do I cancel?
- Email support@brainiacstechsolutions.com or use the customer portal. Managed-services tiers require 30 days written notice; we pro-rate nothing on partial months but we do not bill beyond the 30-day notice period. See /cancellation-policy for the full policy.
- How long does onboarding take?
- Starter: 1-3 business days from signed agreement to active monitoring. Growth: 1-2 weeks for full helpdesk + cloud rollout. Project: kickoff within 5 business days of signed SOW; delivery timeline is quoted per project.
- What does "custom" actually mean on the Project tier?
- Custom means fixed-scope, line-item engineering: web/mobile builds, internal tooling, cloud migration, SOC 2 readiness, integrations. We quote a single number against a written statement of work. No surprise change orders — if scope changes mid-build, we re-quote that delta in writing before any billable work continues.
- What is your refund policy?
- Managed-services subscriptions are non-refundable for the current billing period but cancellable at any time (see above). For productized SaaS subscriptions there is a 30-day money-back guarantee on the first month. Project engagements follow the milestone refund terms in the SOW. Full text: /refund-policy.
- Can I mix tiers?
- Yes. The most common pattern is Growth (managed IT for the team) plus a one-off Project (a custom build or migration). The two are billed separately. You can also stack productized SaaS subscriptions (MedFlow, DentalFlowDesk, etc.) on top of any tier.
- What's not included in any tier?
- Hardware procurement, third-party software licenses, paid cloud usage (AWS, GCP, Azure), and SaaS subscriptions you already own — these pass through at cost and are billed separately. We document every pass-through line item monthly.
